Georgia License Plate Design Contest May 23 – June 17, 2011

I am excited to announce that the Georgia Department of Revenue is sponsoring a contest to redesign the Georgia general issue license plate. As State Revenue Commissioner, I feel it is important to present this opportunity to the citizens of this great state to showcase the artistic and creative talents of our citizens. The public will also be given the opportunity to participate via online voting to select three design finalists. The winning design will be displayed on millions of motor vehicles in Georgia and wherever Georgia vehicles travel nationwide. I welcome all Georgia citizens or companies authorized to do business in the state to submit original artwork for consideration. The Department looks forward to presenting the winning design on July 15, 2011!
